Melanoma March events are held around Australia during March to raise vital funds for melanoma research and increase awareness of melanoma. The events also provide an opportunity for patients, families and communities to come together to support each other and remember those lost to the disease.

All participants are required to register online before arriving at the event.

ON THE DAY
- We are looking forward to welcoming our community back to Melanoma March Cairns on Saturday, 9 March 2024 at Fun Ship Playground along the Cairns Esplanade.
  
  Our event is dog-friendly so your furry friends are welcome to join us, provided they are on a lead.
  
  There are BBQ facilities at Fun Ship Playground, so feel free to BYO picnic.
  
  The walking route is wheelchair and pram accessible.
WALKING ROUTE
- The walk will start at Fun Ship Playground, continue along the Northern End of the Esplanade to the lagoon area and back again.
PARKING
- There is plenty of free parking at the playground.
